Rising in Strength
I breathe in the breath of the Almighty and find my peace.
Though I have fallen, I shall surely arise.
Your hand is not too short to reach me where I am.
You reach down from on high and take hold of me.
You draw me out of the deep and muddy waters.
I am not cast headlong, for You uphold my hand.
You are the lifter of my head and my glory.
When my heart is faint, lead me to the Rock that is higher.
The Lord is my light and my salvation; I will not fear.
Though I am hard-pressed, I am not crushed.
Your grace is sufficient for me in this very moment.
Your power is made perfect in my deepest weakness.
I hear the voice of Jesus saying, 'Rise and walk.'
I am being raised up with Him to sit in heavenly places.
You restore the years that the locusts have eaten.
You provide a table for me in the presence of my struggles.
I exchange my weariness for Your divine strength.
I will run and not grow weary today.
I will walk and not faint, for You are with me.
You uphold me with Your righteous right hand.
My inner person is being renewed day by day.
Christ in me is the anchor and the hope of glory.
I am more than a conqueror through Him who loves me.
You have set my feet upon a broad and stable place.
I take up the shield of faith to quench every doubt.
The Spirit that raised Jesus lives and breathes in me.
I am rooted and grounded in Your unchanging love.
I stand firm on the solid ground of Your promises.
I walk forward in the confidence of Your living presence.
I seal these words in the name and blood of Jesus.
