Breath of Life: Embodied Peace and Emotional Release
Hello, dear friend. Come into this quiet space.
Gently close your eyes, if it feels right.
Allow your shoulders to soften, your jaw to release.
Feel the natural rise and fall of your belly.
Rest in the quiet rhythm of your heart.
Anchor your awareness in your present body.
Now, welcome His sacred presence here.
Notice your breath, a sacred gift.
It is God's own breath, animating you.
His Spirit, like a gentle breeze, dwells within.
Your breath is the connection between spirit and flesh.
A bridge from heaven to earth, inside you.
Remember, Jesus breathed peace on His disciples.
His breath, His Spirit, is upon you now.
Breathe deep, slow, and naturally.
Each breath, a communion with divine life.
Now, gently turn your awareness inward.
Notice where emotions may be held in your body.
Perhaps a tightness, a heaviness, or restlessness.
Maybe warmth, a flutter, or a sense of unease.
Allow these sensations to surface without judgment.
Your body is a trustworthy messenger.
It is not your enemy, but a vessel of grace.
Jesus meets you right here, in your physical self.
With tender compassion and unfailing presence.
Say with me, deep within your heart:
I am safe in my body; His Spirit dwells within me.
I release fear, anxiety, and instability with each exhale.
I welcome His perfect peace with each inhale.
My fluctuating emotions are held in His steady love.
