Abiding in His Constant Presence
I quiet my heart, drawing near to the living God.
Though life may press in, and my days are full and busy,
I remember Your faithful presence, always near.
You are not far off, but fill heaven and earth.
Even when my mind is racing, You remain my steady anchor.
When I cannot hear Your whisper, You are still speaking in my spirit.
When my eyes are dim with weariness, I know You are watching over me.
My trust is not in my feelings, but in Your unchanging character.
You are good, and Your love endures forever, O Lord.
Jesus, You promised never to leave me as an orphan.
You declared, 'I am with you always, to the very end of the age.'
This truth settles deep within my soul, a comfort and a strength.
I do not need to strive to find You; You have already found me.
Your Spirit dwells within me, a constant, abiding presence.
Even when I feel distant, You are intricately woven into my being.
Nothing can separate me from Your great love, O God.
No busy schedule, no hurried moment, no weighty thought.
Your love holds me secure, in every season and every pace of life.
I rest in the truth that You are working all things for my good.
Your perfect plan unfolds, even when I cannot perceive it.
My life is hidden with Christ in God, always safe.
My peace is not found in stillness, but in Your steadfastness.
I release the burden of needing to 'do more' to be with You.
You simply invite me to be, knowing You are always here.
My worth is not in my productivity, but in Your priceless love for me.
You are my Shepherd, and I shall not lack for Your presence.
You prepare a table before me, even in the presence of my busyness.
Surely goodness and mercy follow me all the days of my life.
I am held, I am seen, I am loved, always.
I seal these words in the name and blood of Jesus the Son of God.
