A Balanced Heart, Anchored in Joy
I dwell in the secret place of the Most High, sheltered by the shadow of the Almighty.
In Your presence, I find the path of life made known to me.
Here, there is a fullness of joy, and at Your right hand, pleasures forevermore.
My soul feasts on the abundance of Your house, drinking from Your river of delights.
For with You, Lord, is the fountain of life, and in Your light, I truly see light.
You prepare a table for me, even in the midst of any challenge.
You anoint my head with oil, and my cup overflows with Your goodness.
Surely, goodness and mercy follow me all the days of my life.
I will dwell in Your house, O Lord, now and forevermore.
The joy of the Lord is my strength, filling me with gladness for this day.
As I wait upon You, Lord, my strength is renewed like the eagle’s wings.
I run and am not weary; I walk and do not faint in Your power.
I choose not to be anxious about anything, but to pray with thanksgiving.
Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guards my heart and mind.
You give me Your own peace, not as the world gives, but a lasting, true peace.
My heart is not troubled, neither am I afraid, for You are with me.
You keep me in perfect peace because my mind is stayed on You.
My faith comes alive as I hear and receive Your living Word.
I have obtained a faith of equal standing, by the righteousness of Christ Jesus.
The God of hope fills me with all joy and peace in believing.
By the power of Your Holy Spirit, I abound in hope, my soul's anchor.
The Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead lives in me, giving life to my body.
I am being transformed, from weakness to power, from natural to spiritual.
My lowly body will be made like His glorious body, by His mighty power.
I am strengthened with power through Your Spirit in my inner being.
My God supplies all my needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
He is able to do far more abundantly than all I ask or imagine, through His power in me.
My soul is satisfied and my mouth praises You with joyful lips.
In peace, I lie down and sleep, for You alone make me dwell in safety.
I seal these words in the name and blood of Jesus, the Son of God.
